Grub Control in Illinois
What Are Grubs?
Grubs are the larval form of scarab beetles, like the Japanese Beetles. These white, “C-shaped” larvae feed on the roots and soil underneath the grass. Infestations can go unnoticed for long periods of time, until large portions of the lawn are already destroyed.
- Grass can be pulled up like a carpet
- Dead Spots
- Loose Grass
Grubs aren’t affected by the run-of-the-mill pest spray. That’s why we’ve specifically designed a springtime Grub Prevention Program, specifically targeting grubs and reducing their population as they become active.
If you’ve noticed an infestation of surface-feeding insects, we will come out and treat the infestation with targeted methods involving low quantities of select pesticides.
